Arabic Teacher – Early Years (Dubai)

About the role

Emirates British Nursery is seeking a qualified Arabic Teacher to lead Arabic language and Islamic values learning for children aged 45 days to 4 years. The role is part of the Emiratization programme and will be based on‑site in Dubai, offering a structured onboarding and career development pathway within GMG.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily Arabic lessons aligned with the Early Years curriculum.
• Lead a classroom supported by a teaching assistant, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Assess and record each child's language development and overall progress.
• Prepare age‑appropriate learning materials, displays, and activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents in Arabic and English, sharing progress updates and conducting parent‑teacher discussions.
• Contribute to broader curriculum planning, school events, and readiness programmes.
• Uphold safeguarding, health, safety, and nursery policies at all times.

Required profile

• UAE national holding a valid Family Book.
• Native or fluent Arabic with working proficiency in English.
• Degree or diploma in Education, Early Childhood, Child Development, Arabic Language, or a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3, Montessori).
• Previous experience teaching young children is preferred.
• Ability to lead a classroom independently.
• Not currently employed in the private sector (to meet Nafis eligibility).

Required skills

• Fluent Arabic communication.
• Working knowledge of English.
