Arabic Teacher

About the role

The Arabic Teacher will deliver high‑quality language instruction to students in Dubai, fostering their linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding. The role supports the school’s mission by nurturing responsible, capable learners through engaging classroom experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver allocated Arabic classes, preparing lesson materials and activities.
• Assess, monitor, record, and report on student progress and performance.
• Provide academic advice and guidance to students regarding their language studies.
• Promote and safeguard the wellbeing and safety of all students.
• Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in continuous professional development and curriculum development initiatives.
• Help maintain order and discipline within the classroom and the wider school environment.

Required profile

• Minimum BS/BA degree in Arabic or a related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, Master of Education, Professional Certificate/Diploma in Teaching or Pedagogy) from an accredited institution.
• Compliance with TELS UAE teacher certification requirements and attainment of Competent Teacher Status (CTS) within one year of joining.
