Architectural Manager – High Rise Buildings

About the role

Abu Alnaga Contracting is looking for an experienced Architectural Manager to lead the design and delivery of high‑rise building projects across the United Arab Emirates. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and driving innovative architectural solutions from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural activities for high‑rise projects from design development to construction completion.
• Oversee architectural teams, consultants, and technical coordinators to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, façade, and specialist consultants for seamless integration of all disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, authority requirements, project specifications, and international standards.
• Manage design reviews, technical meetings, and coordination workshops with consultants and stakeholders.
• Identify design conflicts and provide effective technical solutions during construction.
• Monitor architectural progress, quality, and project timelines.
• Support value‑engineering initiatives and optimise design solutions without compromising quality.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to architectural staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of architectural experience, including significant experience managing high‑rise building projects.
• Proven track record delivering towers, residential, commercial, or mixed‑use developments.
• Strong knowledge of high‑rise construction systems, façade coordination, and finishing works.
• Excellent understanding of architectural detailing, construction methodologies, and site execution.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project‑management skills.
• UAE experience is highly preferred.
