Architectural Manager – Transportation (Metro Project)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Manager – Transportation to lead the design review of a Design‑and‑Build contractor on a large‑scale metro project in Dubai. You will guide a senior architectural team, ensure design integration across disciplines, and support the project from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage senior architects reviewing contractor design submissions.
• Coordinate architectural, urban planning, landscape, interior, façade and material design elements.
• Provide technical direction and documented opinions to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, government bodies and project leadership.
• Drive the contractor’s design process to achieve progressive, buildable outcomes.
• Oversee multidisciplinary design interfaces for an integrated metro system.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality, safety and contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading senior architectural teams on large, complex transportation or rail projects.
• Proven ability to maintain team cohesion and morale under pressure.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with senior‑level stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts and site interface requirements.
• Demonstrated track record delivering metro/transport projects from concept to construction.
