Area Retail Trainer – MAC Cosmetics

About the role

MAC is seeking an energetic Area Retail Trainer to elevate artistry, product knowledge and service standards across its retail network in the Gulf region. This mobile role blends makeup artistry, retail expertise and people development, supporting teams in Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programmes for retail staff in multiple markets.
• Coach and mentor store teams to improve selling capabilities and brand experience.
• Travel regularly between Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain to conduct on‑site sessions.
• Ensure consistent application of MAC’s visual and service standards.
• Collaborate with regional managers to identify performance gaps and tailor development plans.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience as a Retail Manager, Regional Artist or comparable retail training role.
• Intermediate to advanced makeup artistry skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Strong presentation, facilitation and coaching abilities.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, highly organized with high emotional intelligence.
• Comfortable working independently while building trusted relationships across teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel.
