Area Vice President – Deluxe Resort Operations, South Asia

About the role

The Area Vice President – Deluxe Resort Operations leads a multi‑property resort portfolio across South Asia. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the role is responsible for full P&L ownership, operational standards, and brand delivery to achieve commercial and guest experience targets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue, profitability and GOP performance across all resorts, meeting annual budgets and long‑range plans.
• Set and monitor property‑level KPIs such as RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, GOP margin and guest satisfaction, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Define and enforce operational and brand standards through regular audits, ensuring consistent guest experiences while preserving each property's unique identity.
• Partner with commercial teams to develop and execute sales, marketing, pricing, distribution and revenue management strategies.
• Translate strategic vision into actionable business plans, lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning, and present recommendations to executive leadership.
• Identify portfolio optimisation opportunities including renovations, repositioning, operational efficiencies and market expansion.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a portfolio of at least 15 deluxe resorts.
• Relevant work experience in South‑East Asia or Europe.
• Strong track record of P&L management and delivering commercial results.
• Experience leading senior functional teams such as General Managers, Commercial, Finance and HR.
• Ability to travel extensively across the region.
