Art Teacher (IB-PYP)

About the role

Dubai International Academy is seeking an inspiring Art Teacher to deliver the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB‑PYP) in a vibrant, multicultural environment. The successful candidate will nurture creativity, develop visual‑arts skills, and support the school’s commitment to inquiry‑based learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging Art lessons aligned with the IB‑PYP framework.
• Integrate cross‑curricular projects that connect visual arts with other subjects.
• Maintain accurate student records and contribute to portfolio assessments.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Utilise technology tools to enhance classroom instruction and student collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Art or a related field.
• Recognised teaching certification.
• Experience teaching in an international school, preferably within an IB‑PYP or outcomes‑based system.
• Master’s degree or higher is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IB‑PYP assessment principles.
• Effective communication and classroom management abilities.
