Art Teacher – International School (UK Curriculum)

About the role

This full‑time position is for an Art Teacher at an established international school in Dubai delivering a UK curriculum. You will create an engaging, supportive and inclusive classroom where students thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well‑structured art lessons aligned with the UK curriculum.
• Create a positive, student‑centred learning environment that supports individual progress.
• Use a range of assessment strategies to track learning and provide clear feedback.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking and curiosity across all subject areas.
• Build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Contribute to school events, enrichment activities and year‑group initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and support the school’s reporting processes.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to ongoing school improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and PGCE or QTS qualification.
• Minimum three years of full‑time teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and student wellbeing.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team.
