Assistant Manager – Human Capital (Luxury Hospitality)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Human Capital to join Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, Dubai’s newest luxury lifestyle destination. The role supports all HR functions, from recruitment and employee relations to welfare programs and facilities management, ensuring a seamless colleague experience in a high‑end hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate HR records, HRIS data and workforce planning tools for effective workforce management.
• Lead recruitment for positions up to middle management (grade 10–7), handling screening, interviewing and selection.
• Manage colleague welfare programs, including accommodation, clinic operations and employee engagement initiatives.
• Conduct exit interviews, provide coaching and counseling, and support managers with investigations and disciplinary actions.
• Liaise with government authorities to process employment documentation, licenses and permits.
• Oversee colleague services and facilities such as the cafeteria and HR team operations, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Diploma in Hotel Management, Human Resources Management or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in HRM preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR role within hospitality or related sector.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations and recruitment practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational and stakeholder management abilities.
