Assistant Manager – Internal Audit (Automotive)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Internal Audit will support the Internal Audit function across Al Futtaim Group’s automotive businesses. Reporting to the Audit Manager, you will help ensure that internal controls are effective, assets are protected and audit standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing the annual audit plan by assessing risk levels.
• Design audit programs that outline risks, controls and test procedures.
• Execute internal audit assignments, evaluate control adequacy and performance quality.
• Review approval processes for compliance with group policies and delegation of authority.
• Document audit work in the Audit Management System and prepare professional audit reports.
• Communicate preliminary findings to management and support follow‑up on recommendations.
• Prepare executive summaries and monthly reports for senior leadership.
• Utilise data‑analytics tools such as Tableau and Power BI to broaden audit coverage.
• Conduct fraud investigations, identify control weaknesses and propose preventive measures.
