Manager - Financial Controlling

About the role

As a Manager – Financial Controlling you will support the division’s accounting policy requirements, collaborate with Group Finance on policy development and lead the implementation of internal controls. You will also drive the rollout of collection infrastructure, maintain high‑quality financial reporting and champion the adoption of AI and automation tools to improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support Group and Divisional Policy and Advisory Head in developing internal controls, assessment and standardisation frameworks.
• Draft and implement divisional accounting policies through technical analysis and training sessions on IAS, IFRS and internal policies.
• Liaise with Shared Service Centres and Business Unit Finance teams to ensure timely period‑close processes and balance‑sheet substantiation.
• Prepare reports for entity‑level scorecards, monitor KPI/SLA performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate audit activities, track progress against audit programmes and ensure satisfactory resolution of audit points.
• Lead the adoption of AI and automation tools, build solutions for recurring controlling deliverables and establish data‑governance protocols.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least 5 years of supervisory experience in a large organisation.
• Strong analytical, process‑oriented mindset and excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and exposure to SAP BW/BPC/SAC.
