Assistant Manager - IT Applications (UAE National)

About the role

We are seeking a UAE National professional to join a high‑performing IT team in Dubai. The Assistant Manager – IT Applications will support, maintain and enhance a portfolio of more than 30 enterprise applications, while contributing to development, project delivery and vendor management.

Key responsibilities

• Support, maintain and enhance a diverse portfolio of business applications and technology solutions.
• Deliver system upgrades, enhancements, testing and manage application lifecycle activities.
• Participate in application development, coding, debugging and performance optimisation.
• Coordinate with external vendors, implementation partners and service providers.
• Support technology projects, implementations and business improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, governance controls, audit readiness and compliance standards.
• Provide user support, knowledge transfer and training across business applications.

Required profile

• UAE National.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting enterprise or business applications.
• Strong understanding of software development, databases and Windows/Linux environments.
• Experience with ERP, HRMS or similar enterprise platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, cloud or DevOps are advantageous.
