Assistant Manager - Projects

About the role

Assistant Manager - Projects will support the planning and execution of retail store openings, renovations, relocations, and refurbishments for Apparel Group in Dubai. The role involves coordinating with multiple internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing store opening, renovation, relocation, and refurbishment projects.
• Coordinate with Design, Projects, Visual Merchandising, Operations, Procurement, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Support project timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables from initiation through completion.
• Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and external vendors.
• Track project progress, highlighting delays, risks, and dependencies to the Project Manager.
• Review Bills of Quantities, quotations, drawings, layouts, and related documentation.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure work aligns with approved plans and brand standards.
• Coordinate store handover activities and ensure all pending works are closed before opening.
• Maintain project trackers, status reports, meeting minutes, and documentation.
• Follow up on procurement, material deliveries, approvals, and installation schedules.
• Support snagging processes and ensure timely closure of identified issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety requirements, and local regulations.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to management.
