Assistant Manager – Regulatory Compliance

About the role

The Regulatory Compliance Assistant Manager supports the design, implementation and ongoing monitoring of the organisation's compliance framework in line with CBUAE and other regulatory requirements. The role ensures timely filings, tracks regulatory changes and promotes a strong culture of governance and ethical conduct.

Key responsibilities

• Support design, implementation and monitoring of the compliance framework.
• Ensure timely regulatory filings and returns.
• Monitor changes in UAE laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in developing and reviewing internal policies and SOPs.
• Conduct compliance testing and internal reviews.
• Coordinate with risk, legal, operations, finance and other stakeholders.
• Support regulatory inspections and audits.
• Maintain compliance trackers and documentation.
• Escalate potential non‑compliance issues to senior management.
• Promote a strong culture of governance and ethical conduct.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in banking, fintech or finance.
• Professional certifications such as ACAMS or CFE preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE laws and regulations.
• Experience with GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) frameworks.
• Ability to work with senior management and executive stakeholders.
