Assistant Merchandiser – Retail (UAE Nationals)

About the role

The Assistant Merchandiser supports the Senior Merchandiser and Merchandiser in driving sales and managing stock for the M&S retail business in the UAE. This role focuses on allocation, reporting, catalogue buying and store communication while developing the team and ensuring a strong brand presence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage allocation processes, set BTF ratios, and implement AI Allocation solutions.
• Generate and maintain business reports, track promotions, and analyse weekly trade data.
• Assist in catalogue buying, maintain core buying sheets, and prepare planograms using DRB.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stores on stock issues and support retail conference planning.
• Coach team members, set SMART objectives and ensure succession planning.

• UAE national with a passion for the M&S brand.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into business decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with stores and internal stakeholders.
• Team‑player who can coach and develop colleagues.
