Assistant Resident Engineer - Site

About the role

Egis is looking for a detail‑oriented Assistant Resident Engineer to support the Resident Engineer on a high‑rise construction project in Abu Dhabi. You will help ensure that daily site activities meet the project’s technical, quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities, including enabling works and structural works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to track quality, progress, safety and compliance.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, method statements and construction methodologies.
• Monitor critical works such as shoring, dewatering, waterproofing, PT slabs, façade and structural works.
• Coordinate activities among contractors, subcontractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain site documentation, including inspection records, progress reports, photographic records and hand‑over documents.

Required profile

• Proven experience on mid‑rise to high‑rise building projects.
• Strong technical and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
