Assistant Sports Coach – Netball Specialist

About the role

The Dubai British School Emirates Hills is seeking an Assistant Sports Coach with a focus on netball to support its Physical Education programme. Working under the direction of the PE Teacher and Heads of PE, you will help create an engaging, inclusive environment for students aged 3‑18.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the PE teacher in planning, preparing and delivering netball and other PE lessons.
• Work with individual students or small groups as directed by the subject teacher.
• Supervise and guide students during PE classes, ensuring safety and adherence to rules.
• Organise and set up equipment and materials required for lessons and activities.
• Support the implementation of the physical education curriculum and instructional materials.

Required profile

• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare, with willingness to undergo background, reference and police checks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, parents and senior leadership.
• Enthusiasm for promoting physical activity and sport participation.
