Assistant Team Leader – SME Sales

About the role

The Assistant Team Leader – SME Sales supports the bank’s growth by driving business banking sales across the SME segment in Dubai. You will work closely with the sales team to meet targets while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets for business banking products and services.
• Prospect and engage SME customers through phone calls and face‑to‑face visits.
• Present and sell a full portfolio of business banking solutions in an ethical and professional manner.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers to generate cross‑sell opportunities.
• Ensure strict adherence to the bank’s KYC and AML policies during onboarding.
• Act as the external point of contact between the bank and its SME market.
• Participate in micro‑marketing activities, SME events, and direct marketing initiatives.
• Handle objections effectively to close sales.
• Record all sales activities in daily reports and update the CRM system.
• Participate in team huddles, training, compliance, and fraud‑prevention sessions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in prospecting and selling to SME customers.
• Strong understanding of banking products, KYC, and AML requirements.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
