Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Economics

About the role

The University of Dubai’s Dubai Business School is seeking qualified candidates for Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor positions in Economics, commencing Spring or Fall 2026. The role combines high‑quality teaching, rigorous research, and active industry engagement within Dubai’s dynamic business ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate, graduate and PhD courses using innovative and digital pedagogical methods.
• Maintain an active research agenda, publish in peer‑reviewed journals indexed in Scopus, and present findings at international conferences.
• Secure external research funding and lead research‑development projects.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with businesses and industry relevant to economics.
• Contribute to curriculum development, academic committees, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) in Economics or a closely related field from an accredited institution, completed by the start date.
• Demonstrated record of high‑quality research publications and teaching excellence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience or strong interest in using diverse pedagogical approaches and digital learning tools.
• Ability to build and maintain professional networks at national, regional, and international levels.
