Associate – Asia-focused Private Equity (Global Fund)

About the role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious global investment firm based in Abu Dhabi, focusing on direct private‑equity investments across Asia. The Associate will work closely with senior professionals to source, evaluate, and manage a diversified portfolio of investments.

Key responsibilities

• Support evaluation, execution and monitoring of global private markets investments, including co‑investments.
• Build and maintain financial models, including leveraged‑buyout (LBO) analyses and investment returns.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations and materials for the internal investment committee.
• Conduct due‑diligence across commercial, financial and operational workstreams.
• Collaborate with senior team members to monitor portfolio performance and deliver analytical insights.

Required profile

• Experience in the M&A team of a top‑tier investment bank or in a private‑equity role with prior investment‑banking exposure.
• Outstanding academic record from a top‑tier university.
• Strong business acumen and high professional integrity.
• Fluency in English and native‑level proficiency in an Asian language (e.g., Japanese, Korean) is highly desirable.
