Associate – Debt Capital Markets Transactions

About the role

Standard Chartered is seeking an Associate to support the origination, structuring and execution of Debt Capital Markets (DCM) transactions in Dubai. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored DCM solutions and market insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage regular client interactions and provide customised DCM solutions.
• Prepare and update pitch books, marketing material and transaction documentation.
• Conduct daily/weekly global credit market analysis and produce market updates.
• Build and maintain automated Excel databases for presentations and extract data from Bloomberg.
• Handle documentation for Islamic and conventional bond deals throughout execution.
• Coordinate weekly syndicate calls, roadshows and investor feedback sessions.
• Liaise with auditors, legal counsel, rating agencies and other third parties to secure approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business or Economics.
• Strong interest in capital markets and DCM transactions.
• Fluent in English; good knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data modelling and presentation.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg for extracting quantitative and economic data.
