Associate Director Human Resources

About the role

The Associate Director Human Resources will partner directly with executive leadership to shape and deliver the people agenda for a leading entertainment business unit in the UAE. This senior strategic role focuses on workforce strategy, organisational effectiveness, talent development and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic HR advisor to senior leadership, providing insight on workforce priorities.
• Develop and execute people strategies aligned with business growth and organisational objectives.
• Lead workforce planning, organisational design and operating model effectiveness.
• Drive succession planning, talent reviews and leadership pipeline development for critical roles.
• Oversee performance management and organisational effectiveness programmes.
• Design and implement employee engagement and culture transformation initiatives.
• Lead major change and transformation programmes, including restructuring and integration.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, risk, governance and people‑related matters while ensuring compliance with UAE labour legislation.
• Utilise workforce analytics and HR data to support senior‑level decision‑making.
• Partner with HR Centres of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development) and localise group HR initiatives.
• Develop and build the capability of the HR Business Partner team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum qualification).
• At least 8 years of generalist HR experience.
• UAE national applicants only (non‑negotiable).
• Strong generalist HR background with experience in strategic advisory.
