Associate Electrical Engineer – Dubai (UAE National)

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a motivated Associate Electrical Engineer to join its Dubai team. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience in electrical design for medium to large infrastructure projects, supporting both local and regional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical calculations, material take‑offs, estimates, surveys, designs, specifications, data sheets and Bill of Quantities.
• Design LV power distribution systems and perform cable sizing using ETAP.
• Create lighting layouts for indoor and outdoor applications with Dialux and AGI32.
• Conduct load‑flow, short‑circuit and earthing studies using industry‑standard software.
• Support telecom and MCC network design, as well as fire‑alarm and life‑safety system design in line with NFPA and local civil‑defense regulations.
• Develop and analyse BIM models using Civil 3D and Navisworks, resolving clashes and providing guidance to CAD designers.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for client review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Internship or project experience in electrical design of medium‑to‑large infrastructure projects; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• ETAP software for power system analysis.
• Dialux and AGI32 for lighting design.
• Civil 3D and Navisworks for BIM modelling.
• Power cable sizing calculations.
