Associate Electrical Engineer

About the role

9E Global is seeking a senior Associate – Electrical to lead and support electrical engineering projects across the UAE. The role combines business development, engineering design, and project management responsibilities, reporting to a Project Director or Associate Director.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, build relationships with clients and architects, and represent the company at project interviews.
• Lead the design process, review and comment on team deliverables, ensure compliance with CAD standards and 3D modelling practices.
• Manage a portfolio of projects as Project Manager or Project Engineer, overseeing delivery, client satisfaction, profitability, cash flow and quality.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, models and technical documentation; review work of junior staff.
• Coordinate with clients, design teams, contractors and authorities, ensuring QA, HSE and CDM requirements are met.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably on Middle‑East projects.
• Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering; Chartered Engineer status is a plus.
• Proven track record as a Project Engineer or Project Manager on complex projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in proposals, fee negotiations and resource planning.
