General Construction Superintendent – Large‑Scale Energy Projects

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager with a proven track record in overseeing and coordinating all on‑site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards for a high‑profile client.

Key responsibilities

• Assure the quality and integrity of each project, delivering on schedule and within budget.
• Provide continuity and consistency of construction management using in‑house procedures.
• Oversee total construction field effort to ensure compliance with design, specifications, budgets and schedules.
• Manage and control project cost and schedule of assigned disciplines.
• Coordinate supply and delivery of equipment, subcontractors and consumables.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities are defined, communicated and executed.
• Initiate safety, quality and environmental processes such as toolbox meetings, inspections and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering during design phases to improve constructability.

Required profile

• Degree with a minimum of 20 years Oil and Gas industry experience, including at least 5 years on major capital projects (> USD 500 M) with Construction Management and Site Management focus.
• Experience within an Oil and Gas operating company is highly desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel extensively for multi‑week periods and adjust work location as needed.
• Qualified to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa.
