Associate Research Scientist – Process Optimization (CVD)

About the role

The Division of Engineering at NYU Abu Dhabi is hiring an Associate Research Scientist to work under Professor Pradeep George on process optimization with a focus on Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD). The position involves cutting‑edge computational and experimental work in a multidisciplinary research environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality, innovative research on CVD processes and related optimization studies.
• Publish research findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present at conferences.
• Mentor undergraduate students and contribute to the preparation of research grant proposals.

Required profile

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• At least three years of post‑doctoral research experience, preferably in Computational Fluid Dynamics.
• Familiarity with response surface modeling and optimization is a plus.
