Associate Structural Engineer

About the role

The Associate Structural Engineer will support the design and analysis of structures for oil and gas projects. Working under close supervision, you will apply engineering fundamentals to deliver accurate calculations and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on basic tasks.
• Prepare clear design calculations, reports, and procedures.
• Conduct computer analyses of structures designed by others.
• Prepare material take‑offs (MTOs) for primary structures under supervision.
• Carry out engineering checks of drafting and review vendor data with guidance.
• Organise work to meet deadlines and communicate effectively with the project team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• 0‑3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Eager to learn and develop technical knowledge.
• Working knowledge of English, both oral and written.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and guidelines.
