Senior Project Coordinator – Interior Design (Post‑Contract)

About the role

An established interior design studio in Dubai seeks a Senior Project Coordinator to lead post‑contract delivery, bridging design intent and on‑site execution. You will manage contractor submissions, technical coordination, RFIs, shop drawings and site‑related matters to ensure projects meet design and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects throughout the post‑contract phase, managing technical reviews and information flow.
• Coordinate with document control to log, track and issue all incoming and outgoing project information.
• Review contractor shop drawings against approved design intent, layouts and technical requirements.
• Prepare clear responses to RFIs, technical queries and project‑related enquiries.
• Identify constructability issues and develop practical, buildable solutions while preserving design intent.
• Work closely with internal design and production teams to resolve technical and non‑standard packages before they become site issues.
• Review and coordinate technical information from specialist consultants including MEP, lighting and AV/IT.
• Attend project sites to conduct inspections, workshops, snagging and de‑snagging, monitoring workmanship and installation quality.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of experience in interior design, architecture or fit‑out, with at least 5–8 years in the UAE.
• Degree or professional background in Architecture, Interior Design, Environmental Design or a related discipline.
• Strong post‑contract and site delivery experience, including reviewing shop drawings, coordination drawings and material submittals.
• Excellent knowledge of interior construction, detailing, materials and installation methods.
• Valid UAE driving licence and willingness to travel across the Emirates.
