Associate Sustainability Consultant

About the role

Join AECOM’s Building Sustainability Team in Dubai as an Associate Sustainability Consultant. You will lead technical and strategic aspects of complex green‑building certification projects, helping clients achieve high‑performance, low‑impact developments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of multiple sustainability and certification projects, ensuring technical quality, schedule adherence, and successful outcomes.
• Define and oversee sustainability strategies for large or complex developments, applying rating systems such as LEED, Mostadam, Estidama, and others.
• Act as the primary technical and client‑facing lead, managing senior stakeholder relationships and expectations.
• Provide technical direction and quality assurance for analyses including energy modelling, daylighting, carbon assessments, and building performance studies.
• Review, sign off, and coordinate sustainability reports, scorecards, and submission documentation before client issue and third‑party submission.
• Oversee responses to assessor, authority, and certification body comments, ensuring timely and technically robust closure.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in sustainability, green‑building certification, and building performance analysis.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver high‑quality results.
• Excellent client‑facing skills with experience guiding senior stakeholders.
• Mentoring capability to support junior staff and contribute to business growth.
