Audit Manager – Core Assurance

About the role

As an Audit Manager in the Core Assurance team, you will lead audit engagements for a portfolio of high‑profile clients in Dubai. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, guiding the audit process from strategy design through execution and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day client liaison and resolve technical issues across a portfolio of iconic clients.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, building strong client relationships.
• Design audit strategies and oversee audit execution in line with engagement leader guidance.
• Advise clients on financial reporting and regulatory developments, staying current through seminars.
• Deliver presentations to boards of directors and audit committees.
• Ensure compliance with risk, quality, and independence standards.
• Lead large projects, meeting key deadlines and quality expectations.
• Coach, mentor, and support the well‑being of team members.
• Promote digital initiatives and audit transformation technologies.
• Participate in recruitment, interviewing and selecting candidates per PwC standards.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 6‑8 years of external financial audit experience at a Big 4 firm.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACA or CPA.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is a plus.
