Authority Liaison Manager

About the role

The Authority Liaison Manager will be the primary point of contact between our Development Department and local regulatory bodies in Dubai. This role ensures that all engineering and infrastructure projects obtain the necessary approvals and permits in a timely and compliant manner.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and follow up on documents required for building permits, NOCs, and other regulatory approvals.
• Maintain effective relationships with authorities such as Tarakhees, DMC, RTA, DCD, DEWA, and others.
• Coordinate with internal design, engineering, and planning teams as well as external consultants to ensure accurate submissions.
• Monitor application progress, identify potential delays, and proactively resolve rejections.
• Stay up‑to‑date with local regulations, policies, and submission procedures.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to the Development Department.
• Attend authority meetings, site visits, and inspections as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in authority liaison roles within the UAE, preferably in the Dubai real‑estate or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of approval processes for Tarakhees, DMC, RTA, DCD, and related authorities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination abilities.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
