AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect with IRS MBI Clearance

About the role

The partner company seeks an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect with IRS MBI clearance to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable multi‑account AWS environments for mission‑critical workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS Organizations structures, Organizational Units, and account governance policies.
• Deploy and manage AWS Control Tower and Landing Zone architectures for automated provisioning and compliance.
• Architect multi‑region VPCs, VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and hybrid networking, including GovCloud environments.
• Define IAM policies, permission boundaries, identity federation, and Service Control Policies to enforce least‑privilege access.
• Implement security controls with Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config, CloudTrail, WAF, Shield, and encryption for data at rest and in transit.
• Automate infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Lead cost‑optimization initiatives, disaster‑recovery planning, and provide technical mentorship to engineering teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of cloud architecture experience, with at least 3 years hands‑on AWS.
• IRS MBI clearance is mandatory.
• Proven experience with AWS GovCloud (US) and FedRAMP compliance.
• Strong background in multi‑account governance, networking, and security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
• Relevant AWS certifications (Solutions Architect – Professional preferred; Security – Specialty and Advanced Networking – Specialty are a plus).
