AWS DevOps Engineer – AI Solutions (Banking)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable AI infrastructure for a leading bank in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on building robust CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and implementing MLOps workflows to support AI-driven banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable AI infrastructure on AWS.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and machine‑learning deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Deploy and manage containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
• Monitor cloud environments, performance, security, and cost optimisation.
• Implement MLOps workflows for model training, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, SageMaker, and Bedrock.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, developers, and data scientists to operationalise AI solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, backup, and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvements for reliability and scalability.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proven ability to implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools and GitHub Actions.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience implementing MLOps workflows on AWS.
• Solid knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, SageMaker, Bedrock).
• Background in the banking or financial services domain is preferred.
• Willingness to complete a mandatory 1.5‑hour online JavaScript test.
