B2 Aircraft Maintenance Team Lead – GCAA/EASA & Challenger Type Rating

About the role

Join Bombardier Transportation at its brand‑new Abu Dhabi Service Center, a state‑of‑the‑art MRO facility at Al Bateen Executive Airport launching in Q1 2027. The role leads the B2 aircraft maintenance team, ensuring safe, efficient, and on‑schedule support for the full Bombardier fleet across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily aircraft maintenance operations, guaranteeing compliance with customer requirements, Bombardier policies, OEM instructions, and GCAA/EASA regulations.
• Coordinate manpower, workload, overtime and task assignments while optimizing use of tooling, equipment, hangar space and materials.
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting and guidance to maintenance crews.
• Supervise and certify all maintenance actions, inspections, rectifications and release‑to‑service activities.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or defects and proactively escalate to Project Managers.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of maintenance documentation, work packages, technical records and regulatory reports.
• Promote a strong safety, quality and risk‑management culture in line with the Safety Management System (SMS) and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Valid GCAA/EASA aircraft maintenance licence.
• Global & Challenger type rating.
• Minimum 96 months (8 years) of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Willingness to relocate and reside in Abu Dhabi; relocation support is not provided.
• UAE nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
