Team Leader – Project HSE (Projects Division)

About the role

Lead and manage all project‑related HSE activities across the full project lifecycle, ensuring safe execution of ADNOC projects in compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements and international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor project‑specific HSE plans aligned with scope, risk profile and execution strategy.
• Monitor HSE performance through reporting, audits and reviews, and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee contractor HSE compliance and manage HSE audits, incident investigations and root‑cause analyses.
• Lead HSE studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, risk assessments and ensure ALARP risk mitigation.
• Coordinate HSE assurance, interface management and integration with engineering, procurement and operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of project engineering experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Proven leadership ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Strong experience in integrating HSE requirements across the full project lifecycle.

Required skills

• HAZID and HAZOP studies.
• Risk assessment and root‑cause analysis.
• MOC (Management of Change) evaluation.
• HSE audit execution and corrective action management.
