Bar Waiter/Waitress

About the role

We are looking for a courteous and efficient Bar Waiter/Waitress to join our hospitality team. You will take food and beverage orders, serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks, and ensure guests enjoy a seamless dining experience in line with our hotel standards.

Key responsibilities

• Take and record guest orders, using suggestive selling techniques.
• Input orders into the POS system and verify transmission to the kitchen.
• Serve alcoholic beverages, wine, champagne, and coffee according to departmental standards.
• Collect payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Prepare and set up tables, condiments, and side stations before service.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and portion standards.
• Ensure compliance with liquor regulations and hotel policies.
• Perform opening side duties such as stock checks, napkin folding, and station cleanliness.

Required profile

• Complete knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
• Familiarity with liquor brands, wine selections, and beverage garnishes.
• Understanding of state liquor regulations, especially regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
• Ability to maintain a clean and well‑stocked service area.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (Point‑of‑Sale) systems.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math for payments.
