Bell Attendant – Front Office

About the role

The Bell Attendant – Front Office is a key member of the Concierge team at Madinat Jumeirah Resort, providing first‑impression service to guests arriving and departing. The role combines guest interaction, luggage handling, and coordination with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm smile, use their names, and open car doors courteously.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting luggage to and from guest rooms, ensuring no damage.
• Deliver faxes, messages, parcels, mail, and newspapers to rooms, verifying guest name and room number.
• Maintain accurate records of guest deliveries, luggage tags, and car/taxi numbers on the appropriate forms.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to keep the lobby clean and orderly.
• Provide directions within the hotel and page guests using the paging board.
• Promote Jumeirah properties and products to guests.
• Follow all SOPs, Jumeirah policies, and the ‘Everything Considered’ service philosophy.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Team Leader or Manager.
