BIM Manager

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead digital modelling and coordination for infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed BIM models throughout the construction phase, ensuring compliance with architectural, engineering and project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage BIM activities within the consultant supervision team during construction.
• Establish, implement and monitor BIM workflows, standards, procedures and information management requirements.
• Review contractor BIM submissions, federated models, shop drawings and other digital deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across infrastructure, utilities, landscape and structures, including clash detection and resolution.
• Oversee 4D and 5D BIM processes, linking models with schedules, quantities and cost data.
• Maintain BIM quality assurance and control, validating models against LOD 400 and LOD 500 requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Proven experience as a BIM Manager or senior BIM professional in infrastructure construction or consultant supervision.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, Synchro Pro, Autodesk Construction Cloud/Forma and Asite.
• In‑depth knowledge of LOD 300‑500, ISO 19650 and BIM standards.
• Experience with 4D/5D BIM workflows, clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
