BIM/CAD Technician (MEP) – Dubai

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled BIM/CAD Technician specialized in MEP to join its Dubai team. You will be responsible for creating and managing detailed engineering drawings and BIM models for projects such as pump stations, gas networks, HVAC systems, and metro infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with BIM Lead, Design Leads and Engineers to produce accurate MEP drawings and models.
• Develop BIM models from project start‑up to completion, ensuring compliance with company standards and ISO19650 processes.
• Perform clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks and generate clash reports.
• Extract quantities and scheduling data directly from the BIM model.
• Review all deliverables for readability, presentation and adherence to QA/QC standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of GCC experience in BIM/CAD drafting for MEP projects.
• Strong understanding of BIM modeling processes and LOD requirements.
