Biology Teacher – Middle & High School

About the role

Al Ittihad National Private School is seeking a qualified Biology Teacher to join its Middle and High School faculty in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will deliver engaging biology lessons, support student achievement, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective biology lessons for Middle and High School students.
• Prepare lesson plans and learning activities aligned with curriculum objectives.
• Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback and track progress.
• Maintain a well‑managed, inclusive classroom that promotes student engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student development.
• Participate in school meetings, activities and professional development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and educational standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably at Middle and High School level.
• IELTS score of 6.0 or higher.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to deliver engaging lessons.
• Excellent communication, classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with the UAE curriculum is an advantage.
