BMS Technician

About the role

The BMS Technician is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and supporting the Building Management System that controls HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire alarm, water and other utility services. The role works closely with facilities teams and external contractors to ensure reliable, efficient and safe building operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor BMS platforms, adjust parameters and respond to alarms, events and performance trends.
• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of BMS controllers, sensors, actuators and networking devices.
• Support testing, commissioning and modification of BMS and related building services.
• Respond promptly to service requests, breakdowns and emergency maintenance, including on‑call duties.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, health‑ and‑safety standards and participate in emergency response activities.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance actions, fault reports and system modifications.

Required profile

• Experience monitoring and operating Building Management System platforms.
• Ability to install, maintain and troubleshoot BMS controllers, sensors and actuators.
• Familiarity with safety, compliance and emergency response procedures.
