Branch Accountant – Finance Support Specialist

About the role

The Finance Support Specialist provides comprehensive after‑sales financial support, focusing on revenue collection, accounts receivable, and credit control. The role ensures accurate payment handling, compliance with financial protocols, and coordination with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Handle payments via multiple methods, manage same‑day cheque collections and daily deposits in CDM.
• Reconcile SAP against deposit slips, monitor cheque clearances, and process bounced cheques and refunds.
• Conduct surprise cash counts, maintain daily collection oversight, and monitor AR reports for overdue invoices.
• Maintain credit customer database, validate credit limit increase requests, and coordinate with location managers on unresolved AR issues.
• Process invoices accurately, ensure compliance with AFM and bank protocols, and support Opex/Capex reporting.
• Generate ARIBA spend reports, assist in forecasting, and perform nationwide revenue reconciliation.
• Monitor warranty and goodwill claims, maintain the Fixed Asset Register, and support insurance renewals.
• Supervise cash and cheque transactions in SAP, coordinate with MIS for reporting, and conduct document audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in SAP and financial reconciliation processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing AR and invoice processes.
