Branch Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Branch Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team in Dubai. In this position you will help maintain the financial health of the branch by ensuring accurate reporting, performing reconciliations, and providing insights that support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day branch accounting operations, including cash and cheque deposits.
• Perform cash, bank and inter‑company general ledger reconciliations.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly sales reports for business analysis.
• Issue receipts, refunds and exchange documents in line with company policies.
• Oversee timely monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing of accounts.
• Prepare and maintain prepaid and provision schedules each month.
• Record and deposit daily cash and cheque transactions accurately.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in the UAE.
• CA Inter certification is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
