Broadcast Sales Engineer

About the role

NextGen Systems LLC is a global provider of Media, Telecom and SATCOM services, delivering advanced broadcast and communication solutions to private enterprises and government organisations. The role involves working with cutting‑edge technologies and international stakeholders on mission‑critical projects across the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales opportunities for Satellite, Broadcast, Media and Professional AV solutions.
• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, government tenders, quotations, BOMs and presentations.
• Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations and technical discussions.
• Build relationships with TV/FM radio, satellite operators, government bodies and corporate clients.
• Coordinate with international technology partners, vendors and internal engineering teams.
• Follow up on tenders, RFQs and projects from inquiry to order completion.
• Support project handover and provide technical assistance to customers when required.

Required profile

• Strong sales engineering and sales skills, including solution design and proposal development for complex broadcast and communication systems.
• Technical support and customer service experience, with a proven ability to troubleshoot broadcast or telecom equipment.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and produce professional documentation.
• Relevant experience in broadcast, telecom or SATCOM environments and familiarity with transmission systems and IP networking.
• A diploma or degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or a related technical field, plus proficiency in office and CRM tools.
