Budgeting and MIS Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Budgeting and MIS Manager to lead the end‑to‑end financial planning, forecasting and management reporting processes for a large, diversified organisation in Dubai. The role works closely with senior leadership to provide data‑driven insights that support strategic decisions and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting cycle, including timeline management, assumptions, consolidation, reviews and approvals.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to build detailed budgets for revenue, costs, headcount, CAPEX and cash flow.
• Manage regular forecasting cycles and rolling forecasts, highlighting risks, opportunities and assumption changes.
• Maintain and enhance financial planning models, cost allocation frameworks and reporting structures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc management information reports for executive and board‑level stakeholders.
• Conduct variance analysis against budget, forecast and historical performance, providing actionable recommendations.
• Design executive‑level dashboards and visual reporting tools to simplify complex financial data.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting and MIS functions in a large, multi‑business environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in financial planning and reporting tools.
• Experience with ERP integration for budgeting and reporting.
• Ability to develop and maintain complex financial models.
