Business Analyst – Hotel Commercial Reporting

About the role

The Lana – Dorchester Collection is seeking a Business Analyst to support commercial performance across its luxury hotels in Dubai. You will turn data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth and enhance guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc commercial reports for Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa and other revenue‑generating departments.
• Develop, maintain and improve automated reporting tools, dashboards and performance trackers.
• Analyse key KPIs such as Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, TRevPAR, GOPPAR, market share, channel production, segmentation performance, F&B capture rates and Spa revenues.
• Produce trend analysis, forecasting models, pace reports, pickup analysis and business intelligence summaries to identify opportunities and risks.
• Support Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Operations teams with actionable recommendations.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all commercial systems.
• Build and maintain advanced Excel models for budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership through clear reports, visual dashboards and executive summaries.

• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex insights to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively across Revenue Management, Sales, Finance and Operations.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for modelling and reporting.
