Restaurant Hostess – Luxury Fine Dining

About the role

We are hiring a professional, friendly, and well‑presented Receptionist / Hostess to join a luxury fine dining restaurant in Dubai. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests and will ensure a warm, professional, and seamless experience from reservation to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Handle telephone calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and reservations.
• Manage and update reservations accurately, confirming guest details, special requests, VIPs, celebrations, and dietary requirements.
• Provide accurate information about the menu, restaurant, seating areas, opening hours, and policies.
• Escort guests to their tables and ensure a smooth handover to the waiter.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Manage walk‑in guests and waiting lists professionally.
• Follow up on inquiries, missed calls, and upcoming reservations.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and elegant reception area.
• Follow professional grooming and appearance standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Receptionist / Hostess in a restaurant or luxury hospitality environment.
• Fluent English is mandatory; Arabic is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, confident, and friendly personality.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good computer and reservation system knowledge.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy service.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• Well‑presented with an understanding of luxury hospitality standards.
