Business Analyst

About the role

Amazon’s Supply Chain team in the Africa, Middle East & Turkey region is seeking a Business Analyst to manage capacity operations for the AMET region. The role combines engineering insight with business acumen to drive data‑driven decisions that improve customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Write ETL queries in SQL/Datanet platforms for data analysis.
• Utilise advanced MS Excel skills to aggregate data from multiple sources.
• Transform raw data into actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Identify root causes of business problems and propose forward‑looking opportunities.
• Design new metrics and enhance existing ones to support sustainable processes.
• Understand tools and processes to drive seller adoption.
• Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL concepts.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
• Experience with data‑analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex business challenges with accurate financial models and analysis.
