Business Development Manager – Fintech & Payments

About the role

We are looking for a high‑performing Business Development Manager with a strong hunter mindset to drive new business acquisition across SMEs and mid‑market companies in the UAE. The role focuses on acquiring new corporate clients, building a robust pipeline and consistently exceeding revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end sales cycle – from lead generation to discovery, demo, negotiation and closing.
• Build pipeline through outbound channels such as cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns and networking.
• Engage founders, finance teams and business owners to present Alaan’s fintech and payments solutions.
• Close customers quickly with a high‑velocity sales motion.
• Continuously experiment with messaging, outreach and go‑to‑market approaches.
• Collaborate with product and leadership teams to shape the sales process.

Required profile

• 1‑6 years of experience in outbound sales, SDR or early account‑executive roles.
• Strong cold‑calling and prospecting experience, comfortable building pipeline from scratch.
• Proven experience selling to SMEs or mid‑market companies with a high‑energy, bias‑for‑action attitude.
• Background in HR SaaS, payroll, fintech or B2B SaaS organisations and a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Ability to move fast without over‑complicating deals.
• Excellent communication – clear, sharp and persuasive.
• Multilingual abilities (Hindi/Urdu a plus).
