Business Development Manager – GCC Corporate Certifications

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across the GCC (excluding Saudi Arabia) for a leading global provider of corporate learning solutions and professional certifications. The role will expand enterprise partnerships, increase adoption of workforce development programmes and strengthen our regional presence in key markets such as the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Identify, qualify and close new business opportunities across enterprise, government and education sectors.
• Drive demand for corporate training, digital learning solutions and professional certifications.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and networking.
• Establish and nurture relationships with senior HR, L&D and CXO stakeholders.
• Deliver compelling presentations, proposals and tailored solutions to clients.
• Form strategic partnerships with local training providers, channel partners and resellers.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners to launch joint go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to shape product positioning.
• Work closely with marketing, product and delivery teams to align campaigns and offerings.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales or corporate training sales.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets in the GCC region.
• Strong network of senior HR, L&D and procurement decision‑makers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel across the GCC and adapt solutions to local market nuances.
